What is the Retz Mobility Sprint?
The Retz Mobility Sprint (Retzer Mobilitätssprint) is a cross-company commuting survey in the Retzer Land region. It is organised by the Climate Model Region (KEM) Retzer Land together with foama.
The goal: improve mobility offerings within companies and across the region in a lasting, demand-driven way – based on real commuting data rather than assumptions.
Employees of participating organisations (and interested people from the region) take part in a three-part survey – about one minute each. In return they receive personal mobility recommendations and savings potential. The organisations with the highest participation rates are named winners at the end.
“The Retz Mobility Sprint puts everyday mobility in the spotlight – and delivers real value – for every individual, for organisations, and for the region.”
Timeline
- From 14 September 2026: Survey part 1 available – workforces are informed
- 21 & 28 September: Parts 2 and 3 (each on the following Monday)
- 5 October: Closing email to all participants
- End of October: Closing event by KEM Retzer Land including winner announcement (exact date to follow)
Aggregated interim results are available during and after the survey on the public dashboard.
What’s in it for individuals and employees?
Participation is voluntary and personally worthwhile:
- Over several weeks you receive personalised insights into your everyday mobility – including costs, CO₂, alternatives and savings potential.
- You help your employer derive better, demand-driven mobility offerings – and increase the chances in the competition for the highest participation rate.
- You contribute to better mobility in Retzer Land – beyond your own commute.
Each survey takes about one minute. You start with your work (or personal) email address via the shared survey landing page.
You are also warmly invited to take part without an organisation or employer! Simply select the option “Individual participation” on the survey start page.
What’s in it for organisations?
For management, HR and site leads, the sprint delivers concrete value:
- Insight into commuting behaviour and potential to reduce costs and CO₂
- A foundation for workplace mobility management measures – site-specific and demand-driven
- Visibility in the Retz Mobility Sprint and a chance to receive an award
- Contribution to regional mobility improvement in Retzer Land
ℹ️ Competition: every participation counts
Scoring is based on the percentage participation of the workforce. Prizes are awarded by KEM Retzer Land at the closing event end of October.
